Be Different. Yes, I rock a mohawk. I was always one to follow my own path. I carry that over into my art and design. Vibrant colors and  bold typography are what influence signature style.

Colorful Background. I have been in and out of hospitals beginning at the age of 9 months old. Bringing pencil to paper helped me cope with the anxiety of waiting for impending surgeries.

Art and Tattoos. I knew I wanted to get tattooed from a young age. I was always fascinated by the vivid colors and the art they created. While managing a tattoo shop from 2009-2013, I observed creative artists using various techniques and styles on their cloth and human canvases. They were and influencing factor in my art.

Music. Music inspired me and sets the tone for the pieces I create. My repertoire contains everything from punk rock to classical piano, hip-hop, classic rock, blues to country.

Colors and Textures. Like a moth to a flame, I am drawn to the bright colors, textures and patterns I observed in the street and skate art in my environment. As a native Southern Californian and former resident of Las Vegas and Hawaii, I have been influenced by the cultural diversity of friends, coworkers and my own family’s rich heritage.

Discipline. Fitness is a big part of my daily routine. My mornings begin at 5:30 a.m. with yoga and stretching; the evenings end with cardio and weight lifting. The consistency and discipline I demonstrate with daily workouts, carries over into my work habits when creating, designing and executing a project.

Family. This tattoo is of my grandparents. My family has always supported my artistic passions. They pushed me to constantly create and have motivated me to be the artist that I am.

Southpaw. Did you know that only about 10% of the population is left handed? Lefties tend to be right brain dominant. Right hemisphere characteristics are associate with imagination, creativity, art, spatial awareness and 3-dimension, just to mention a few.
